As the ten day festival of worshipping God Ganesha began last week, it has marked the beginning of the festive season in India. Lord Ganesha is widely known as the god of intellect and wisdom. At the beginning of every new venture he is worshipped as the “Vighnaharta”, one who removes all hurdles. Ganesha has a grotesque form and each depiction has a unique significance. Here are some financial lessons we should interpret from Ganesha form, learn and implement on our personal finances:

Kickstart Yourself: If you are still considering starting an investment, then you may miss the bus. Start saving and investing, to secure your future and financial goals! Giving up because of bad experiences is not a good idea. As Ganesha signifies new beginnings, start new investments and begin the journey towards your financial freedom now! You can start investing in simple products such as SIP with minimal amount as low of Rs.500 and manage your personal finance.

Big Ears & Small Eyes and Mouth: Ganesha is worshipped as the god of intellect and wisdom. His small eyes and large ears highlight the importance of learning by listening carefully, observing with full concentration and limited words. A person who listens carefully to financial advisors, observes the minute details of the market movements and speak less, but meaningful, has high prudent chances of achieving the benefits of financial markets. Earn more, save more and invest more should be the mantra.

Big Head: Lord Ganesha has a big head of an elephant, which inspires us to dream big, think profitable and learn new skills. Every small situation should be considered and evaluated to turn it into an opportunity to make a big success. The big head is also a symbol of forward thinking and thinking ahead of the market, for being the market leader and having best wealth management.

Long Nose & Big Trunk: Long nose signifies the chances of smelling opportunities before others. A smart investor should site a beneficial opportunity before others and prepare accordingly. The best preparation an investor should have is to find a financial planner and a good investment advisor.
